Preschool Boost for 3-Year-Olds

The South Australian Government is implementing preschool education for three year olds through the Preschool Boost Flying-Start program. Commencing in 2026, Flying-Start is beginning to roll out across SA, with eligible three year olds gaining access to teacher-led educational preschool programs.
This educational reform is a part of the government’s ongoing plan to reduce the number of children who are developmentally vulnerable. Through the provision of early intervention support before children reach primary school, the government scheme aims to directly address educational and developmental equity. Backed by significant funding, implementation of the program is supported by the South Australian educational workforce.
Flying Start and Creative Therapy
Creative Therapy Adelaide are extremely excited to engage with local preschools within the Flying-Start Preschool Boost! We will be collaborating with numerous centres around Adelaide to deliver our Shake It Up and Talk’n’Tunes programs geared towards collective developmental music therapy and speech therapy goals.
Creative Therapy Adelaide supports children to grow across all AEDC domains, building communication, confidence and early learning skills through meaningful, music-based experiences.
Why are we so passionate?
Children’s brains build billions of neural connections throughout their early years, and music is proven to activate regions linked with language, motor skills, emotional growth and memory. Thoughtfully chosen musical activities keep children switched on, engaged, and ready to learn. At Creative Therapy, our mission aligns very closely with the values of Flying-Start Preschool Boost: We are passionate about transforming lives with meaningful therapy that draws on creativity!
We can’t wait to boost ourselves into the Flying Start program throughout 2026. If your centre is curious about our services and eligibility for boost, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
