Creative Therapy Adelaide’s ‘Speech Delay: Creative Talk & Play’ is a friendly, play-based group program for 3–5-year-olds with speech and language delays.
What is Speech Delay: Creative Talk & Play?
Delivered in your preschool by a Speech Pathologist, it uses games, songs and routine to build children’s communication and social skills, while giving educators simple, practical strategies they can use with the whole group across the day.
Speech Delay: Creative Talk & Play is facilitated by a speech pathologist who works collaboratively with educators to create a nurturing environment for children to explore rhythm and singing as ways to support language development, as well as traditional speech pathology methods of recasting, modelling and expansion. The structured activities and games, target specific communication and social goals.
