MUSIC CONNECT
A music therapy program connecting people with wellbeing and community through music.

Music Connect is a program facilitated by a Registered Music Therapist, that supports people to feel more confident engaging with music and to use music to ultimately improve their wellbeing.
During the program, participants will work on a 1:1 basis with a music therapist and participate in a range of music therapy interventions that will have the aim to support them to gain capacity to engage in their own music-making endeavours within the community.
It provides strategies and also builds social, emotional and musical capacity in people to help them to transition into mainstream and community music-making activities.
Flexible program options are in place, with participants able to choose a 6-12 week Music Connect program delivered on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
The program is available in-clinic, at home* or via telehealth.
Assessments are conducted at the beginning of each program to take baseline data to understand if the program has been effective. NDIS participants will have an NDIA-required report included in their program. Other participants are provided with a program summary with recommendations.
