SAMI TIMCKE

Sami is a Registered Music Therapist who completed a Master of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance majoring in voice at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Her music therapy experiences range from working with infants and young children to the elderly in mental health settings. Sami also has five years of experience working as a vocal tutor with adolescents in various high schools across Adelaide. Sami is passionate about connecting with clients and families and creating meaningful moments through music. She takes a strengths-based and person-centred approach in music therapy sessions with a focus on fostering self-expression and nurturing well-being. Sami’s primary instrument is vocals, but she also plays guitar, piano and ukulele.
