Creative Therapy Adelaide

Have a question?

Creative arts therapies work with creative modalities such as dance, music, or drama, writing and visual art, and are delivered by registered professionals. These professionals work to support clients to improve their health, their cognitive and physical functioning and their spiritual and emotional wellbeing. They develop strategies and treatment plans to help their clients to explore their needs and reach their goals.

Creative Therapy employ registered professionals with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA) and the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZCATA). These university and often Masters qualified professionals draw on theory and research specific to their profession and more broadly, to inform their practice. Therapists with these associations are subject to continuing professional development and at Creative Therapy, all our therapists are supported to participate in courses and training to ensure their skills reflect best practice and most recent research.

No experience is necessary. Your therapist is a highly trained professional in their area of the creative arts, but also psychology and child development. They will guide you in the process of participating. All you need is a willingness to express yourself and explore your creativity.
