At Creative Therapy, we are on a mission to bring together the brightest team of creative therapists in Australia.

Therapy Services
team

Creative Therapy Adelaide has a mission to provide the best arts based allied health services in Australia.

The way we aim to do that is by building a team that is supported in their well-being, their confidence, their skills and have the best conditions in which to thrive.

Each member of our team lives by our values of creativity, working in a strengths-based and person centred manner and ensuring a research and evidence based approach is at the heart of all that they do. Our focus is on providing an optimal service to our participants, so our incredible clinically-trained service coordinator manages client intake and our admin team take on administrative tasks to help our therapists focus on clinical work and do what they do best! Our therapists have comfortable caseloads, with ample non-participant facing time to stay on top of daily tasks and pursue passion projects.

Our client base is diverse, which gives our therapists the scope to find their niche and specialise in areas that suit their skill set and interests. Working within a team of creative arts therapists has the benefit of containing diverse experiences and strengths, which means we can match participants with the therapist most suited to their needs. Love working in the psychosocial space? You got it! Prefer to specialise in ABI? Let’s do it! Love working with the little ones? ECEI it is! While all of our therapists have diverse case loads, CTA is here to provide opportunities and support for you to flourish into the therapist you want to be. We offer generous training and PD experiences as well as paid training days and a generous PD budget annually for our permanent team members. The best part? We share our learnings as a team at our peer supervision meetings.

Working with CTA is an opportunity for therapists to join a niche provider that specialises in creative approaches to therapy: speech therapy, music therapy and dance movement therapy. With a specific focus on arts-based allied health you will be best placed to learn from the team around you and find purpose and value in being able to share your unique strengths with others.

We endeavour to support optimal work life balance for our therapists, providing flexible working arrangements. Well-being and having a healthy and happy team is paramount to our participants receiving the best services. Natalie Oliveri, our director worked in private practice prior to founding CTA, and from her experience, has put in place safeguards and support that she missed when she worked in isolation. One of these safeguards is to ensure internal team well-being through maintaining safe practices, regular check-ins and well-being events and experiences. We also have a great team culture and love getting out and about, often sharing time with one another at social events and regular team meetings as part of our social budget for all team members.
